What is sound healing?
Sound healing is an intentional experience of sound, vibration, rhythm, breath and stillness. Instead of having to talk your way through everything, you are invited to get comfortable, close your eyes, breathe and simply receive the sounds around you.
At Divine Healing Corner I create immersive sound journeys with crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, drums, rain stick, rattle, ocean drum, chimes and other instruments. Each sound has a different texture. Some tones are soft and spacious. Others are grounding, rhythmic or deeply resonant.
Repeating tones and rhythms give the mind something steady to follow, while resonant instruments can be heard and physically felt. Many people use sound experiences as a way to support relaxation, meditation, present-moment awareness and a deeper connection with themselves.
I do not treat a sound session like a performance. I listen, feel into the room and move intuitively through the instruments, allowing the experience to unfold naturally.

Crystal & Tibetan Bowls
Long, resonant tones fill the room with layers of sound and vibration, inviting deep listening and stillness.
Drums & Rhythm
Steady drumming brings pulse and grounding into the journey. I often return to the drum again at the end to help close the experience.
Rain, Rattle, Ocean & Chimes
Rain stick, rattle, ocean drum and chimes add movement, texture and contrast, creating a soundscape that can feel both earthy and expansive.
Your one-hour sound journey.
You will have time to get settled and comfortable before we begin. From there, I guide the session through sound rather than constant talking.
I may begin with bowls or drum, then move through crystal bowls, drums, rain stick, rattle, ocean drum and chimes, allowing each instrument to lead naturally into the next. I return to the crystal bowls and drum as the journey comes toward a close.
You do not have to know how to meditate and there is nothing you have to “do” correctly. Your part is simply to breathe, listen and notice what you feel.
People come for many reasons.
Some want quiet. Some want a place to unplug. Some are working on meditation. Some simply love sound and vibration. A session can be a beautiful way to step away from outside noise and spend an hour listening inward.
Sound sessions are spiritual and wellness experiences. They are not medical treatment and are not a substitute for medical care.

A real place to settle in.
This is the actual sound and energy space at Divine Healing Corner. The room, instruments and table are part of the experience — warm, personal, lived-in and created for slowing down and listening inward.
The sound space.
Sound is something we feel, not just something we hear.
Rhythm
Steady rhythm gives the mind and body something simple to follow. Repetitive drumming can support focused attention, connection and a sense of settling into the present moment.
Vibration
Singing bowls, drums and other resonant instruments create vibration that can be heard and physically felt. The experience invites deep listening, stillness and awareness of the body.
Rattles
Rattles are an important part of sound work too. Their layered, repetitive sound can shift attention, add texture to rhythm and surround the listener with a moving field of sound.
Sound, breath and the nervous system
Sound practices are increasingly being studied for their relationship with stress, mood, relaxation and nervous-system regulation. At Divine Healing Corner, I combine sound with breath, rhythm, intention and stillness as an experience of reconnecting with yourself and the light within.
Sound sessions are offered as spiritual and wellness experiences. They are not medical treatment and are not a substitute for medical care.
Sound can support the process. It does not own it.
The word healing is used so loosely that it can become almost meaningless. Playing a drum, striking a singing bowl, or saying we are “raising frequency” does not automatically mean healing has occurred.
I do not believe that I heal another person. I cannot claim ownership over someone else’s repair, transformation, or spiritual awakening. Their body, mind, spirit, free will, and the Christ within them are doing that work.
So what is actually happening through sound?
Sound is physical vibration. The ears receive it, the body feels it, and the brain and nervous system respond to its rhythm, volume, repetition, and predictability. A steady rhythm can organize attention. Breathing may begin to slow. The jaw may unclench. Muscular guarding may soften. Racing thoughts may quiet. A person may become more aware of sensations or emotions they could not feel while their system was busy protecting them.
In a group, rhythm can also create synchronization, connection, belonging, and co-regulation. People breathe together, move together, listen together, and become present together.
That does not mean the drum cured a disease or completed someone’s healing.
It means the experience may have helped create conditions of safety in which the person’s own system could begin returning toward regulation, coherence, and balance.
For me, it always comes back to safety.
The body repairs in safety, not through force. When someone has lived in stress, fear, grief, trauma, or survival, their body may continue protecting them even after the immediate danger has passed. Sound, rhythm, breath, stillness, nature, truth, loving connection, and conscious self-reflection may help that person recognize that they are safe enough to soften, listen, feel, and let go of what they are ready to let go of.
That is not a miracle cure. It is a change of state.
One drum circle may create a powerful moment, but a powerful moment is not the same thing as a completed transformation. It may open a door. It may help someone remember what peace feels like. It may give them an experience of connection that they carry into the choices they make afterward.
I also believe we need to be honest about the word frequency.
Sound has measurable frequencies. That is science. The phrase “raising your frequency” is often spiritual language. It may describe a person feeling clearer, calmer, more loving, more present, or less governed by fear, but it should not be thrown around as though it explains a medical process.
We should be able to define what we mean.
When I speak about healing, I am not claiming that I possess a power another person does not have. I am speaking about supporting nervous-system regulation, personal awareness, spiritual well-being, energetic balance, and the body’s natural ability to repair and return toward homeostasis.
Sometimes we do not need more words. Sometimes we need to breathe, become still, and let sound meet us where we are. Sound does not do the inner work for us. It may quiet enough outside noise for us to hear what is already within.
A Course in Miracles has deeply shaped my understanding of healing. I have studied it daily for six years, and it continually brings me back to the understanding that true healing begins in the mind.
ACIM teaches that a miracle is a correction in perception. It is the movement from fear back to love. Healing occurs as the mind begins undoing its belief in separation, guilt, attack, and unworthiness. It is not about making a broken person whole. It is about remembering that our true wholeness was never destroyed.
This does not mean physical symptoms are imaginary. It does not mean that people caused their suffering or failed spiritually when their bodies became sick. It means that beneath the physical experience there is also a mind seeking peace, truth, forgiveness, and remembrance.
As the mind stops attacking itself, the nervous system may begin receiving a different message. The body no longer has to hold the same level of inner conflict and protection. Safety becomes possible. Peace becomes possible. The body is given conditions in which it may begin doing what it naturally knows how to do.
For me, the deepest healing is remembrance.
It is remembering the divine light within. It is recognizing the Christ within ourselves and one another. It is allowing truth to uncover what fear has hidden. Sound can support that process, but sound does not own it.
I also agree that sacred traditions, instruments, and ceremonies should not be stripped of their histories, renamed, commercialized, and sold without reverence for the people and cultures that carried them. Good intentions do not remove our responsibility to learn, acknowledge, respect, and remain humble about what we have and have not been taught.
Healing is not a product that someone hands to us.
It is a living process of truth, awareness, regulation, choice, relationship, forgiveness, responsibility, and remembrance.
I create a reverent space where sound, rhythm, breath, connection, and stillness may help someone feel safe enough to meet themselves.
What happens from there belongs to them, their body, their free will, and the Christ within.
That is what healing means to me.

Divine Healing Corner
Bowls, drums, rattles, breath and stillness.
Crystal + Tibetan Bowls
Long resonant tones create layers of sound that invite deep listening and a quieter inner space.
Ocean Drum + Rain Stick
Flowing sounds bring in the feeling of water and movement, softening the edges of the experience and creating space to simply listen.
Rattles + Hand Drums
Rattles and hand drums bring pulse, texture and movement. Repetition can help attention settle into rhythm and into the present moment.
The invitation is simple. Breathe. Listen. Feel the vibration. Let the sound carry you inward.
